We need to do better. We need leaders to be more transparent. All conversations between people with significant power over the trajectory of human progress must be fully open and auditable by everyone for the forseeable future. We need an understanding of what blananced distributions of power and resources amongst individiual humans looks like in a world where individual humans have become economically obsolete. Everyone has a stake in this, but few have power to do anything about it. In order to demand accountability it is necessary that those people immediately subscribe to commitments to openness regarding their goals, motives, strategies, etc. Examples of people who have such power today: anyone serving as a head of state; anyone serving immediately under a head of state in any country with a GDP over 2.5 trillion USD; anyone on a board or in an executive level position in an AI organization with an anual budget over 10 million USD; anyone in a similar position at any parant organization of such an organization, recursively to the top of the of chain; etc. In addition to this, we should specify how accumulation of additional resources and power accrue and will then be subsequently redistributed such that the global distribution begins forthwith to move toward and ultimatlely to oscillate about a democratically determined ideal distribution.

Presumably, we want a path wherein power of the controlling system(s) is voluntarily ceded from humans to AI systems slowly and with yet to be developed standards around safety and security for humans. We want to specify the utopian visions that humans may ascribe to and allow each individual to have the freedom to choose to carry forward their existance in at least a couple of the different visions that they prefer, where no such utopia is allowed to preclude the selection of a preferable utopia by any other individual. So for example, utopian visions that require resources beyond what is able to be allocated by a fairly selected distibution of resources are disallowed until such time as they no longer above such a threshold.
